This bourbon gives you something different from the start. You get a classic mash of corn, rye, and barley, aged in new charred American oak barrels, just as bourbon law requires. But once it’s done maturing, the makers take an extra step. They rest it in small-batch roasted coffee beans. That’s where the notes of mocha, roasted nuts, and coffee come from. You taste the vanilla, caramel, and oak you expect, but the coffee layer adds a bold twist you don’t usually find in bourbon.
You’ll notice the packaging right away. Instead of a glass bottle, you get a 100% stainless steel can. It doesn’t break, chills quickly, and works anywhere glass can’t go. It fits the brand’s rugged and adventurous image and gives you a bottle you can actually take outdoors without worry.
It’s bottled at 80 proof, gluten-free, and made by Stillhouse Spirits Co. in the United States, with roots connected to Tennessee.
