Smirnoff Kissed Caramel takes the brand's classic vodka and infuses it with caramel and a touch of salt. The result is sweet and a little savory, a lot like a salted caramel candy. It comes in a 750ml bottle at 30% ABV, or 60 proof.

The base is Smirnoff No. 21, a grain vodka that is triple distilled and filtered ten times through charcoal. That clean spirit stays in the background. It lets the caramel and salt do the talking. Pour a little and you will smell sweet caramel right away. The taste is creamy and sweet, with a light sea-salt edge that keeps it from feeling heavy. The finish is smooth, and the caramel lingers for a while. It earned a Gold medal at the 2019 Los Angeles International Spirits Competition.

Smirnoff suggests a few easy drinks. The Kissed Caramel Apple Cider is the easiest. Pour 1 1/2 oz over ice, add 4 oz of apple cider and an apple slice. A Kissed Caramel Mule with ginger beer is just as simple. For a Caramel Appletini, shake it with apple juice, lemon juice and a little sugar syrup. Then strain it into a glass with a caramel rim.
