Sesión Mocha Tequila Liqueur brings together tequila, dark chocolate and cold brew coffee. The base is a blanco tequila made from 100% blue agave in Jalisco, Mexico. All of that agave comes from one farm, Tierra de Agaves. Sesión is an Australian-owned brand led by Jennifer Hawkins and Jake Wall.

Lift the glass and you get dark roasted coffee and rich chocolate on the nose. The palate tastes like a good mocha, with dark chocolate and cold brew coffee in equal measure. A soft tequila warmth sits underneath and keeps it from feeling heavy. The finish is smooth and creamy right to the last sip.

Mocha has also done well with the judges. It took home a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The Sesión Blanco and Reposado each won silver.
