Seagram's Extra Dry Gin was produced in 1939. For a long time, Seagram's Extra Dry Gin was "The American Gin". Seagram's used to be aged for 90 days and bottled with a golden hue. Over the years Seagram's became extra dry and in the 2000's the gin started "resting" or aging in oak. The color has a light yellow tinge. The scent of Seagram's Extra Dry Gin has a citrus scent with angelica, juniper scents, and a candy flavored taste of orange. The palate tastes juniper, orange candy, and has a great taste of heat and spice notes. The flavor tastes like cinnamon orange tea, and cooked cider. Seagram's has been very popular for Hip Hop stars like Snoop Dogg and others Over the years it definitely started becoming more popular.
