Description

Scapegrace Gold is a navy strength London Dry gin from New Zealand, bottled at 57% ABV. It takes the twelve Classic botanicals and adds a thirteenth: tangerine.

The base is wheat spirit cut with Southern Alps water. Scapegrace distills on Lake Dunstan in Central Otago.

You will smell orange blossom first, with rose and light pepper. Citrus sweetness leads the sip, yet juniper stays in charge. The finish is warm, dry and juicy, with a clear tangerine note.

It won Best London Dry Gin in the World at the 2018 International Wine & Spirit Competition. It also took Double Gold at the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Mix a classic gin Martini, Negroni, Gimlet or G&T. Smoked salmon or oysters make a lovely match.
