Description

Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal is a historic cognac. Named after the royal decree granted by King Louis XV in 1738, this isn't just a symbolic bottle - it is a beacon of craftsmanship and excellence. The blend itself is composed of 240 eaux-de-vie, with 65% Grande Champagne and 35% Petite Champagne, aged between four and twenty years in French Limousin oak barrels.

Let's talk tasting notes. On the nose, you get aromas of plum and fig jam - all rounded out with oaky notes of toffee, brioche, and toasted bread. The taste gives off spiced butterscotch with hints of dark chocolate. Visually, it has that beautiful shade of shimmering copper and a well-rounded body. Expect a chalky aftertaste with a concentrated nutty aroma.

The Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal has been given many an award over the years. A few noteworthy accolades include a Gold at the Global Cognac Masters, Cognac of the Year Award from the Bartenders Spirits Awards, and Spirit of the Year title at the Bartenders Spirits Awards… all achieved in one year, 2025.

This is best served neat, on ice, or mixed into a cocktail. Don't complicate this too much. The bottle speaks for itself.
