RD One Limited Edition 10+ Year Cask Strength With Brazilian Amburana Wood Finish (750Ml)

RD One Limited Edition is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged more than 10 years. A legacy Kentucky distillery made the whiskey, and RD1 Spirits finished it. After a decade in American oak, the barrels received honeycomb-drilled staves of Brazilian Amburana wood. That finish was kept shorter than the one on RD1's four-year Amburana bourbon.

It is bottled at cask strength, 117.78 proof. The mash bill is 78% corn, 13% rye and 9% malted barley. Only 900 cases went out across the country.

Spiced apple and honey jump from the glass. On the palate, allspice meets oak and black pepper, then turns to warm caramel with ripe peach and baked fruit. Aged oak, tobacco, leather and apple linger, with a whisper of earth and anise.

It took Double Platinum at the 2025 Ascot Awards and Gold at the 2025 John Barleycorn Awards. The Tasting Panel scored it 96 points. Sip it slowly, neat or with a few drops of water. Dark chocolate, roasted nuts or spiced baked goods suit it well.
