Like a young thoroughbred, Pinhook releases ryes and bourbons that showcase the best attributes of all of their barrels. After careful blending and selection Pinhook finds the perfect proof for each, making sure that each vintage has a character that is as unique as the race horse on the label. Small batched in order to craft some of the best whiskey with attributes that lend to that years crop. The 4 Year Bourbon Vertical War Series has a bright aroma of tropical fruits, cedar and butterscotch before leading towards a lovely and vibrant palate of dried fig, clove, cocoa, and roasted peanut. Over the next 9 years, Pinhook will be carefully selecting 150 bourbon barrels and 50 rye barrels for use in blending the most balanced vintage for the Vertical Series. A 4 year old bourbon that is an annual release. Look out for the Rye Vertical Series in Spring 2020.
