Patrón XO Cafe Dark is a premium coffee liqueur that combines tequila with coffee essence and dark chocolate. The tequila base is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave, harvested and baked in traditional ovens before being distilled in small copper pot stills at Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico - all what one expects from good tequila. The coffee flavor added is all natural, and the chocolate flavor infused to give it that distinctness. 

The nose is inviting, with roasted coffee beans, bittersweet chocolate, and a subtle agave earthiness. Like a coffee shop, but with that extra kick. On the palate, you taste tequila with sweetness, vegetal, and peppery notes. Coffee flavors make themselves known with that extra note of vanilla and caramel. The finish is long and balanced, with lingering coffee bitterness and a faint tequila warmth. 

At the Tequila & Mezcal Masters' Flavoured Tequila category in 2019, this bottle took home the Gold. Wine Enthusiast gave it a rating of 89/100, praising its dry profile and cocoa notes.
