Description

Patron uses only the finest quality raw ingredients to craft their Tequila. Never taking the easy route, they wait for the agave to ripen slowly, over a period of eight or more years before skilled Jimadors handpick each piña. After trimming with a Coa, the heart is fermented for three days and then distilled. Each Patrón bottle is topped with a sustainably harvested Portuguese cork. Patrón Sherry Cask Aged Añejo is aged for over two years in Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks. Over this period, the tequila develops rich notes including oak, vanilla, clove, caramel, and various nuts and fruits. The bright, medium gold tequila has aromas of fresh-cooked agave, pecan, browned butter and a hint of dried fruitiness. The taste offers notes of toasted oak, caramel, butter and pecan which lingers on the palate for a long-lasting, luxurious finish.
