This bold and full-bodied red wine is crafted in the Bordeaux style, often enjoyed as a Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Made by Orin Swift Cellars, a renowned California winery founded by Dave Phinney, it represents the brand’s signature craftsmanship and passion for powerful yet balanced wines. The grapes are sourced from premium vineyards across Napa Valley, ensuring exceptional quality in every bottle. Blended from all five classic Bordeaux grapes—Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot, and Petit Verdot—this wine delivers remarkable depth and character.
Aged for 13 to 15 months in French oak barrels, with nearly half being new oak, it offers extra richness and smooth texture. The aroma bursts with blackcurrant, plum, cassis, cedar, mocha, and spice, while the palate reveals layers of dark berries, chocolate, licorice, and toffee that linger beautifully on the finish. Its high alcohol content (around 15–15.6% ABV) adds intensity and warmth.
Visually stunning with a dark crimson hue and garnet rim, this wine has earned 90–94 point ratings from critics and is adored by enthusiasts. Perfect with steak, lamb, venison, or aged cheese, it’s delicious now yet capable of aging gracefully for over a decade. A premium Napa Valley treasure, typically priced around $90 USD per bottle.
