Description

Opus One Red Blend 2014 offers brilliant aromas of blueberry, cassis, and blackberries. Its creamy entry leads to layers of intricacy which unfold in the mid-palate with velvety tannins enrobing a center of concentrated black-fruit. This blend is very delicately balanced, while the acidity and core structure delivers a persistent finish with hints of dark chocolate. A joint venture between Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild. Indicative blend: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot.
