Ole Smoky Sour Watermelon Moonshine (750Ml)

Description

Ole Smoky Sour Watermelon Moonshine takes a classic summer fruit and gives it a sour candy twist. It comes from Ole Smoky in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The brand is known for its moonshine and spirits sold in mason jars. It also makes a line of whiskey.

Ole Smoky was the first federally licensed distillery in East Tennessee history. Its Gatlinburg home is known as The Holler. This flavor went on sale across the country in the summer of 2022.

Open the jar and you will smell tangy fruit and clear watermelon. The first sip hits you with a tart, mouth-puckering sourness. Then sweet watermelon rolls in and carries you to the end. It tastes a lot like sour watermelon candy. At 40 proof (20% ABV), it stays light and easy.

Judges have taken notice too. In 2024 it won Gold in the moonshine class at the PR%F Awards. Its jar design earned a Silver there as well. That same year it took a National Silver and a Regional Gold for the South at America's Best Spirits Awards.

Keep the jar cold and pour it straight, or sip it over ice. For a party, shake up a Sour Watermelon Margarita. Find more fun jars in our Ole Smoky moonshine collection. If sweet-and-sour treats make you smile, this one is for you.
