Ole Smoky Mountain Java comes from the Ole Smoky distillery in the Tennessee mountains. It blends the punchy bite of their moonshine with rich coffee and smooth vanilla. At 17.5% ABV (35 proof), it is a much gentler pour than classic white lightning.

Pour a glass and fresh, dark-roasted coffee greets you, with sweet vanilla close behind. The palate is full and smooth, like coffee beans and vanilla pods. The finish lingers, with a little moonshine kick at the end.

Ole Smoky lists a long run of medals for Mountain Java. It won Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021. At the New York International Spirits Competition 2020, it took Double Gold and Cream Liqueur of the Year.
