Octomore 16.2 is a super heavily peated Islay single malt that balances extreme smoke with rich cask-driven complexity. Distilled from 100% Scottish barley peated to over 100 ppm and aged for five years, it is matured in Oloroso sherry and Bordeaux wine casks before finishing in Madeira and Moscatel barrels. This creates layered notes of caramelized sugar, roasted nuts, dried fruits, and sweet campfire smoke. Bottled near cask strength, it delivers a powerful, full-bodied profile with a long, elegant finish.
