Description

Mijenta is a young tequila house from the Highlands of Jalisco. Maestra Tequilera Ana Maria Romero Mena leads production. This Reposado Tequila rests six to eight months in a mix of casks. American oak, cherry wood and acacia each add their own touch.

In the glass it shows a light golden color. The nose is delicate and inviting, with vanilla first. Bergamot, honey, preserved fruit and orange blossom follow. On your tongue, rich cooked agave blends with honey and vanilla. A note of cacao nibs shows up mid-palate. The finish is long and generous.
