The 2023 Vintage is the 40th release of the iconic Midleton Very Rare series, which began in 1984. It is crafted by Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman, and this edition marks his third contribution to the series. The whiskey is a careful blend of rare, handpicked single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys that were aged in lightly charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels. These whiskeys range from 12 to 33 years old, and they come together at a smooth 40% ABV.

Its aroma opens with juicy notes of nectarine, ripe melon, green apple, and apricot.
