Heaven Hill Distillery, one of the largest family-owned producers in the United States, crafts this authentic Kentucky Straight Corn Whiskey. It follows the strict standards of the 1897 Bottled-In-Bond Act, so you get trusted quality along with true transparency. The whiskey is bottled at 100 proof, and it is aged for at least four years, which adds depth while keeping the flavor balanced.
It is made with a mash bill that uses at least 80 percent corn, and the remaining grains are rye and malted barley. Instead of new charred barrels, it matures in used Bourbon barrels, so the whiskey develops a light straw or pale golden color. This aging style also creates a profile filled with gentle oak, soft spice, caramel, and sweet corn. The taste feels full and slightly spiced, and you may notice touches of vanilla, toasted corn, or even dried fruit as it opens up.
The finish stays warm, sweet, and a bit chewy, which some people compare to the character of Barbadian rum. It remains one of the few Bottled-In-Bond corn whiskeys from a major distillery, and it continues a legacy that began in 1945. This bottle offers dependable quality along with excellent value.
