Marcotte Moonshine Pumpkin Sweet Cream mixes smooth moonshine with pumpkin and rich sweet cream. It comes from Marcotte Distilling in Philomath, Oregon, a few miles west of Corvallis. Joe and Janelle Marcotte, a husband-and-wife team, opened their tasting room there in March 2018.

Their sweet cream line arrived in October 2019. Pumpkin is one of eight flavors, next to caramel, chocolate, raspberry and peppermint. Joe likes to say the cream soaks up every bit of flavor they add. Here, locally sourced pumpkin and sweet cream are blended into the moonshine. The result has a soft, velvety feel.

You will notice pumpkin spice and sweet cream as soon as you pour, with a hint of cinnamon. The taste is sweet pumpkin and creamy vanilla, warmed by gentle spice. It finishes smooth, rich and sweet, and the flavor lingers.
