Lock, Stock & Barrel 20-Year is sourced from Alberta Distillers Ltd. barrels. Each barrel was hand selected by Robert J. Cooper, late spirits luminary and third-generation distiller.

The only US made 20-year old rye whiskey currently available on the market, this rye is crafted with a rare mash bill of 100% rye grain in copper pot stills. Because a whiskey must be aged in American oak barrels to be considered either a bourbon or a rye, combined with the risk of becoming over-oaked due to aging, Lock, Stock & Barrel ages their 20 year in newly-charred American oak barrels in a colder climate than typical. The 3.5 barrel char and lack of toasting yields a rich and robust flavor American oak imparts, yet still holds a balanced palate.

On the nose is a warm rye spice with notes of toffee and stone fruits. The flavor is intense yet balanced, with a full bodied palate filled with flavors of caramel, clove, cinnamon, apricot, cantaloupe and pepper. The finish is drawn out, with a velvety feel of butterscotch and honeyed rye spice lingering. Packaged in an opaque black glass bottle, this spirit is sure to stand out on your shelf while being protected against light exposure.
