Description
Lillet Blanc is a French aperitif wine made from a combination of fruits, peels, and barks. Lillet Blanc can be enjoyed as an aperitif with tonic or soda water, and the Blanc variety is best enjoyed alongside lemon citrus-forward flavors. Lillet first started in 1872 when Raymond and Paul Lillet created the first and only aperitif from Bordeaux France which was made from a blend of
wine and fruit macerations. Since then Lillet has once again found prominence as connoisseurs and mixologists began featuring this aperitif in cocktail bars around the world. Next time you're thinking of enjoying an Aperol Spritz, consider tasting the soft effervescence of a Lillet Tonic.
