La Gritona Reposado Tequila is distilled and bottled in Valle de Guadalupe, Jalisco. This woman-led distillery knows their stuff! Their tequila is notably very pale in color for a tequila with a 6-month barrel rest. The taste is "herbaceous, with agave notes that have not been 'whiskified' by the barreling process" - their words. Not ours.

La Gritona Reposado is a lightly sweet tequila. It is actually more vegetal rather than oaky. The pepper, vanilla or dulce de leche notes present in many highland reposados aren't here. This tequila is as unique as they come, something that must be experienced. 

La Gritona has gained praise for their exceptional tequila. Wine Enthusiast added it to their 100 Best Spirits of 2021 list and Food Network called it the "Best Woman-owned" Tequila. 

La Gritona Reposado Tequila is a unique one indeed. It is reminiscent of a blanco for its vegetal notes, but it still has the complexity that comes from aging.
