Knob Creek 2001 Edition Bourbon is a limited release of Kentucky bourbon. It was distilled in 2001, when Booker Noe was passing the brand to his son, Fred Noe. The whiskey then aged for 14 years before its 2016 release. It is bottled at 100 proof. The aroma brings oak and char, balanced by vanilla, caramel and warm spice. On the palate, oak leads, with vanilla and spice close behind. The finish is dry and lingering, with oak and a touch of sweetness. It is best enjoyed neat, taken slowly.
