Kaiyo"The Single" 7-Year Mizunara Oak is a fantastic seven-year-old malt that undergoes a double maturation in bourbon barrels. Six more months on the open sea in Mizunara oak casks develops the flavor even further. The rocking of the waves helps to extract complexity from the casks, giving these whisky aromas of honey and spice. The palate is strongly oaky but has notes of honey and coconut.
