Joel Gott 815 Cabernet Sauvignon is a solid, dependable California red wine. The grapes come from vineyards across California. The wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. It ages for up to 16 months in oak, partly new American oak. That gives it gentle oak warmth without hiding the fruit.

Pour a glass and you'll notice black cherry with a hint of sweet cedar. On the palate, ripe blackberry and plum lead the way. Warm sweet spice follows. Velvety tannins keep it smooth through the middle. The finish is long, with a light touch of spice. It's dry and medium-bodied, so it suits many meals.
