Johnny Drum Private Stock Bourbon (750ml)

Description

Johnny Drum Private Stock Bourbon is a Kentucky bourbon made by Willett Distillery in Bardstown. The Johnny Drum label goes back to Thompson Willett in the 1960s, and this version carries no age statement. Bottled at 101 proof, or 50.5% ABV, it has plenty of weight.

Look for caramel, vanilla and red fruit on the nose, with a little green apple and oak. The palate brings plum, cherry and cranberry alongside honey and milk chocolate. Warm cinnamon spice and dry oak build through the finish.

Sip it neat or on one big rock, or let the higher proof carry an Old Fashioned. It is a solid everyday pour for fans of Kentucky bourbon who like a bit more strength.
