Johnnie Walker Green Label is crafted from a batch of Speyside, Highland, Lowland, and Island Malts matured for 15 years. Johnnie Walker Green Label has won several awards in the previous years. John Walker the main distiller started making Johnnie Walker blended whiskies that date back to 1820. John Walker started off by opening a supply shop in Kilmarnock, Scotland, and started selling Scotch Whiskey.
John Walker made a name for himself and started blending single malt whiskies in distilleries across from Scotland. John Walker taught his family and close friends what he knew and started the House of Walker, which created a dynasty and helped start the Scotch Whisky trade. John Walker died in 1857 and his son Alexander inherited the business.
The name brand became more popular after the years went by. Today it’s the world’s leading producer of Scotch Whisky. Johnnie Walker Whisky is a rich blend using only malts drawn from the four corners of Scotland - the naturally vibrant flavors provide unparalleled depth, substance and intensity. Each of the malts is specially selected by the Master Blender to create the perfect balance in the whisky. Rich mouthfeel with a delicate earthiness is balanced through to a lingering malty aftertaste. Sophisticated and full of finesse. Great to enjoy neat or on the rocks.
