Description

This limited bottling comes from Jack Daniel's experimental Tennessee Tasters' Selection. Master Taster Marsha Hale picked it for the 30th World Championship Invitational Barbecue. It came out in October 2018, sold only in Tennessee.

Fully matured Tennessee Whiskey is finished with charred hickory staves set inside the barrels. It is bottled at 100 proof.

Hickory smoke greets you first, with caramel, vanilla and apple behind it. The palate is sweet but never cloying, with oak, red fruit and honey. The finish is long, warm and gently smoky.

It was made for barbecue, so pour it next to ribs or brisket. Sip it neat, or add a few drops of water.
