Horse Soldier Small Batch Bourbon received the silver medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2019.The Horse Soldier Label pays tribute to small special forces teams that fought on horseback in Afghanistan in the wake up 9/11. The American Freedom Distillery was founded as a company for veterans by veterans as a way to give back to the community by providing employment to former members of the military. With sweet aromas of butterscotch, ginger, and cherries, the palate leans towards creamy toffee, dark stone fruits, cola, ginger, vanilla, and oak.
