Description

This Plata (Silver or Blanco) Tequila is a premium spirit that’s usually unaged or only rested for a short time, keeping its natural agave flavor bright and pure. It’s made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, a sign of true quality, and comes at 40% alcohol (80 proof), the standard strength for tequila. Each bottle holds 750ml, making it the perfect size for sharing or enjoying on special occasions.

Created in 1950 by Don Francisco Javier Sauza to celebrate Mexican Independence Day, this tequila is proudly produced in Jalisco, Mexico, specifically in the Los Valles region — the heart of tequila making. It appears crystal clear with shiny silver tones, typical of an unaged Plata style.

On the nose, it offers lively floral, fruity, and herbal aromas with a gentle touch of citrus. The taste is fresh and smooth, featuring notes of agave, citrus, and a hint of black pepper. The finish is warm, dry, and pleasantly short, leaving a clean impression. Double-distilled for extra purity, it reflects careful craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Inspired by traditional small “hornitos” ovens once used to cook agave, this tequila shines in classic cocktails like Margaritas and Palomas or can be enjoyed neat for its crisp, authentic flavor.
