Hijas De Oro Mezcal Espadín Joven is a young, unaged Oaxacan mezcal. Every drop comes from 100% Espadín agave, the most widely grown agave in the region.

The agave hearts are roasted in earthen pits, which gives mezcal its smoky side. They are then distilled in small copper stills.

You will smell roasted agave, soft smoke and a little citrus. The sip brings earthy, mineral notes with some pepper and light sweetness. It ends smooth, with a gentle smoky warmth.

Sip it neat to see what Espadín can do, or shake it into a smoky Margarita or Paloma. Tacos al pastor and grilled meats make easy partners.
