Description

High West The Prisoner’s Share blends straight bourbons and straight rye whiskeys. Some are High West’s own, some sourced. The blend is then finished in French oak barrels that once held The Prisoner Red Blend.

The wine barrels make this a fruity, luxurious-tasting whiskey. You smell ripe raspberry, black cherry cobbler and wine-poached pear. Tiramisu, dark chocolate and chai spice follow. On the palate come dates, dried cranberry, vanilla custard, clove and crystallized ginger. Boysenberry jam and star anise close it out.

Drink it neat or with a splash of water. High West suggests filet mignon or aged cheddar on the side. It is bottled at 51% ABV, with no chill filtering and no added flavors.
