Gray Whale Vodka comes from the team behind Gray Whale Gin, part of Deutsch Family Wines & Spirits. Like the gin, it takes its cue from the gray whale and the California coast.

It is a small-batch vodka distilled in California from 90% grain and 10% Californian grapes. There are no additives and no added sugar, and it is gluten-free.

Bright citrus and a soft floral lift meet you on the nose. The grapes give it a silky, round feel, with a touch of sweetness. A cooling hint of mint keeps it fresh, and the finish is smooth and crisp.

Pour it over ice, or mix a Mule, a Vodka Tonic or a sparkling lemonade. It is lovely next to oysters, sushi or smoked salmon.

The brand has also teamed up with the Surfrider Foundation to help clean up beaches across the country.
