The use of Selección Suave™, a pioneering process introduced by the first Tequila Master Distiller, allows for a blend of agave that creates one of the smoothest and most refined tequilas available. This method ensures exceptional quality and flavor, distinguishing Gran Centenario from other tequilas. In 1920, Lázaro's son, Luciano, began bottling his father's renowned tequila, inspired by the Art Deco architectural style. The current bottle design, reminiscent of the Mexican Centenario Gold Bullion Coin minted in 1910 to celebrate Mexico’s centennial of independence, reflects the enduring legacy of this iconic brand.
