Description

Bermuda-born and proud of it, Gosling's Black Seal Rum is a sip reminiscent of its skies. It is a blend of distillates of varying ages and styles. The blend includes aged components matured in tropical warehouses where heat and humidity accelerate interaction with the wood, producing a rum that is rich, slightly oxidized, and full of tropical fruit notes. 

On the nose, Black Seal offers an inviting bouquet of molasses, burnt sugar, and toffee, layered with dried banana, dark cherry, and a whisper of clove and cinnamon. A light salted caramel and sea spray note also shines through. The palate opens with brown sugar and treacle balanced by a citrus lift. Mid‑palate spice is your black pepper and nutmeg, while the finish is long, warming, and slightly drying. The mouthfeel is syrupy but not heavy, making it satisfying neat yet eminently mixable.

Gosling's Black Seal Rum is also a proud bearer of the World Rum Awards' Bronze Medal, having won it in 2020. It also won a Platinum Medal at the World Spirits Championships. Quite the accolades, eh?
