Glenfiddich 15 -Year Single Malt Scotch Whiskey (750Ml)

Description

Glenfiddich 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt with a clever twist. Every drop has matured for at least 15 years. The whisky rests in three cask types: European oak sherry casks, American oak bourbon casks and new oak casks.

The magic happens in the Solera vat. Malt Master David Stewart created this method, inspired by the sherry bodegas of Spain and Portugal. The large oak vat was first filled in 1998 and has never been emptied. It always stays at least half full, which keeps the flavor rich and steady over the years.

It is bottled at 40% ABV. The nose is complex, with sweet heather honey, vanilla fudge and rich dark fruit. On the palate it feels silky and full-bodied. Layers of sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger unfold slowly. The finish is rich, and its sweetness lingers.

Also known as Solera Reserve or Our Solera Fifteen, this full-bodied whisky has a strong record. It took Gold in 2012, Double Gold in 2013 and Silver in 2020 at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Enjoy it neat, over ice, or with a few drops of water. It also makes a smooth Scotch Negroni with Campari and sweet vermouth. Dark chocolate, smoked meats and aged cheese all suit it well. You can find it in 700ml or 750ml bottles.
