This Single Malt Scotch Whisky is crafted in the beautiful Highlands region of Scotland and aged for at least 12 years. It is matured in the finest Spanish Pedro Ximénez (PX) and Oloroso sherry casks, which add depth, sweetness, and rich layers of flavor. Known for its bold yet elegant character, this whisky offers a smooth and sherried taste that appeals to both new and seasoned whisky lovers.
You’ll notice inviting notes of vanilla, ginger, spiced wine, and dried fruits like raisins, along with hints of oak, sherry, dark fruits, and baking spices. The texture is creamy and full-bodied, creating a perfectly balanced sip from start to finish. Its natural deep amber-red or red-gold color reflects its long maturation, with no added coloring.
Usually bottled at 43% ABV, this whisky retains its full flavor as it is often non-chill filtered. Produced by the historic GlenDronach Distillery, which has been crafting Highland Single Malts since 1826, it embodies traditional Scottish craftsmanship at its finest.
Available in 750ml bottles in the U.S. and 700ml bottles elsewhere, it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore sherried single malts. With its sweet and rich profile, it’s best enjoyed slowly after dinner.
