This whiskey is a special blend of Straight Rye Whiskeys created through a unique collaboration between George Dickel (Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. in Tennessee) and Leopold Bros., a craft distillery from Colorado. The goal behind this partnership was to revive the classic American rye whiskey style that existed before Prohibition.

The blend features George Dickel’s own Column Still Rye, the first rye whiskey ever made and released at their distillery. This rye is chill-filtered through sugar maple charcoal before aging, adding smoothness and character inspired by the traditional Lincoln County Process. It’s then combined with Leopold Bros. Three Chamber Rye, crafted using a historic Three-Chamber Still that gives the whiskey its rich, full-bodied flavor.

Bottled at 50% ABV (100 Proof) and aged for at least four years, this rye whiskey offers a creamy, oily texture and a deeply layered flavor profile. You’ll taste herbal spices like lavender and tea, balanced with sweet notes of honey, caramel, and maple syrup, plus a hint of dark fruit and cocoa.

Winner of a Double Gold Medal at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, this limited-edition release is best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water, though it also shines in cocktails like an Old Pal or Boulevardier.
