Four Roses Single Barrel OBSK comes from the Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. It is one of three recipes in the 2026 Single Barrel Collection. Each bottle is drawn from one barrel and bottled at 100 proof.

The four letters tell you the recipe. B is the high-rye mash bill of 60% corn, 35% rye and 5% malted barley. K is a house yeast strain known for a light, spicy character. The bourbon then rests 7 to 9 years in oak.

On the nose you get allspice, cinnamon and vanilla, with a touch of cocoa. The palate leans into rye spice and caramel, with clove, cinnamon and dark fruit. The finish is bright, oaky and long, with lingering spice. Because each barrel is different, your bottle may show its own small twists.

Try it neat first, then add a few drops of cool water. The spice opens up and the caramel feels rounder. It also makes a lively Old Fashioned or a tall highball. Pair it with spicy ribs, pecan pie or a square of dark chocolate.
