This 10-Year-Old Aged Tawny Port is a beautiful blend of wines that average ten years of age, giving it a deep, mature, and refined flavor. Made in the Douro Valley, Portugal, it uses carefully selected red Ports from the best vineyards in the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior regions. The wine is aged for around ten years in small oak barrels, which helps it develop complex flavors through gentle oxidation and contact with wood.

Fonseca 10-Year-Old Tawny has a warm amber or russet color with soft red tones, showing its perfect aging. The aroma and taste are rich and layered, offering notes of fruit cake, dried figs, apricots, and plums, along with almonds, hazelnuts, and hints of caramel, spice, and oak. Its texture is smooth and silky, with balanced acidity and a long, elegant finish.

Best enjoyed slightly chilled between 12°C and 16°C, it’s ready to drink straight from the bottle with no decanting needed. It pairs wonderfully with desserts made with almonds, berries, or dark chocolate, and complements blue cheeses like Stilton. With 20% alcohol, this Port stays delicious for up to three months after opening.
