Famous Grouse Winter Reserve is an excellent edition to the Grouse line of spirits, and is a spin on the traditional Famous Grouse that contains a higher proprortion of sherry-cask aged whiskies, and has undergone an additional finishing period of up to six months in second-fill sherry casks. This additional burst of sherry is evident from the moment you pour Famous Grouse Winter Reserve into a glass, where it releases aromas of sherry, candied orange peel, and a hint of sea salt. The palate is bold yet rounded, and carries flavors of white pepper, toasted nuts, and citrus peel.
