El Tesoro Extra Anejo Paradiso (750Ml)

Description

El Tesoro Paradiso is an extra añejo from the La Alteña distillery in Arandas, Jalisco. It uses 100% blue Weber agave crushed with a stone tahona.

Don Felipe Camarena created it with Alain Royer of A. de Fussigny Cognac. The tequila rests for five years in French oak barrels that once held Cognac.

You will smell butterscotch and herbs, with soft smoke, oak and tropical fruit. The palate is sweet butterscotch and herbs with an earthy, mineral edge. Butterscotch, light smoke and oak return on the finish.

The Beverage Testing Institute scored it 97 points in 2021. Sip it neat and slowly.
