El Tesoro Anejo Mundial Collection Yamazaki Cask (750Ml)

Description

This Mundial Collection añejo is a one-time release from La Alteña in Jalisco. It is the first El Tesoro rested in Yamazaki casks.

Suntory blender Shinji Fukuyo helped shape it. It spent 12 months in sherry and wine casks that held Yamazaki 12. The tequila is tahona-crushed and additive-free.

The nose shows agave, minerals, dried fruit, nuts, honey and tobacco. You taste toasted almonds, pecans, raw honey, sherry, coffee and dark chocolate. The long finish brings red berries, oak, clove and pepper.

Sip it neat after a few minutes in the glass. Pair it with dark chocolate or aged Manchego.
