Description

This limited Mundial Collection release starts with El Tesoro's highland añejo. It then rests 12 months in charred oak barrels that once held Knob Creek Rye. It is made at La Alteña from tahona-crushed, 100% blue Weber agave.

Your first sniff brings cooked agave, peach, pineapple, caramel and vanilla, with cinnamon and soft florals.

On the palate, agave meets black pepper, cinnamon, dark chocolate, orange peel and oak spice. The finish is long, with oak, spice and a mineral edge. It is bottled at 40% ABV.

Sip it neat after dinner, or stir up an añejo Old Fashioned.
