El Mexicano Tequila Reposado (750Ml)

Description

El Mexicano Reposado is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from the Highlands of Arandas, Jalisco. It is made at Hacienda El Mexicano, NOM 1588, where Master Tequilero Don Félix Bañuelos, the distiller behind Tequila Cazadores, leads production. The tequila is certified additive-free.

The agaves grow for at least six years before harvest. They are slow-cooked in autoclaves for 18 to 24 hours at low pressure. The tequila then rests for 90 days in American and French oak. It is bottled at 80 proof, or 40% ABV.

The nose opens with cooked agave, vanilla and maple, plus apricot and a hint of blueberry. On the palate you get cooked agave, soft oak, vanilla and a creamy, buttery feel. A light touch of pepper keeps it lively. The finish is medium and warm, with oak and agave in balance.

It earned a Silver medal at the 2025 TAG Global Spirits Awards.

Sip it neat or over ice. It also makes a smooth Margarita. Pair it with grilled meats, tacos al pastor, manchego, roasted nuts or a slice of flan.
