Description

This Reposado Tequila is made entirely from Blue Weber Agave and is usually 80 proof (40% alcohol). It comes in a 750ml bottle and is aged for at least two months in American oak barrels, which gives it a light golden or amber color. Produced in Amatitán, Jalisco, Mexico, the heart of tequila country, it is crafted by Casa Herradura, a well-known and respected distillery. The tequila is double-distilled before aging to ensure smoothness and quality.

The name “El Jimador” honors the farmers who hand-harvest the agave, highlighting the care and tradition behind every bottle. Its aroma is rich with notes of cooked agave, vanilla, toasted wood, fruits, and spices, while the taste is smooth and balanced, offering flavors of vanilla, caramel, spice, oak, and agave. The finish is soft, warm, and long-lasting, often leaving hints of vanilla and oak on the palate.

El Jimador Reposado can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in classic cocktails such as a Paloma or Margarita. It has also been recognized for its quality, winning awards including a Double Gold Medal at the 2012 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, making it an excellent choice for both new tequila drinkers and experienced connoisseurs alike.
