EL Jimador Reposado Tequila (750Ml)

Description

El Jimador Reposado starts with 100% blue Weber agave, cut by hand. This tequila was born at Casa Herradura in Amatitán, Jalisco, the heart of tequila country. Its name honors the jimadores, the skilled workers who cut and harvest the agave.

Natural yeasts ferment the agave juice in open-air tanks. The tequila is then distilled twice for a clean, crisp spirit. It rests for two months in American oak barrels, which gives it a light golden color. In the US, it is bottled at 40% alcohol, or 80 proof.

The aroma brings cooked agave, vanilla and toasted oak, with a touch of apple and cinnamon. On the palate, it feels smooth and balanced. You'll taste vanilla, light caramel, warm spice, oak and agave. The finish is soft and warm, with vanilla, oak and a little pepper.

Judges have praised it as well. It won a Double Gold Medal at the 2012 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Enjoy it neat, over ice, or in a Paloma or Margarita. Grapefruit soda makes an easy tequila highball. It goes well with tacos, grilled meats and citrus dishes. It is a friendly pick for new tequila drinkers and seasoned fans alike.
