El Cientelleo Tequila Blanco is an ultra-premium unaged tequila produced at a registered Jalisco distillery (NOM 1579). It's made from 100% mature Blue Weber agave sourced from the Jalisco highlands — grown at elevation in volcanic soil. That terroir delivers the mineral clarity and citrus brightness the highland region is known for.
The agave is slow-cooked in traditional brick hornos before natural open-air fermentation. It's then double-distilled in copper pot stills. The spirit is bottled as it comes off the still.
The result is a Blanco with nothing to hide — and nothing that needs hiding. Fresh agave leads: alive and direct, the way mature highland agave tastes when nothing has been done to soften it. Bright citrus follows, along with white pepper and a faint herbal cool. The texture is clean and precise rather than viscous or rounded. This is a spirit with natural weight, not engineered smoothness. The finish is long and mineral, with no sharp edges and no abrupt close.
For the collector or connoisseur evaluating ultra-premium Blancos, this is a spirit built to that standard. For the serious buyer evaluating the category: El Cientelleo sits alongside Fortaleza, G4, and Ocho in a small group of ultra-premium expressions. What they share is a commitment to agave expression over palatability engineering.
