Primarily a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this wine's aroma brings to mind ripe cherry and wild blueberry, with hints of espresso and spice. The palate is bright and juicy, with notes of blackberry bramble, bittersweet chocolate, and spice. Silky tannins carry you to a long, lingering finish.

An Iconic Wine With Food

We had 2 bottles of the 2018 Discussion from Duckhorn, this wine delivered a great balance between the oak aging, the bright and concentrated Napa Cabernet fruit flavors, and the natural acidity. As with this style, and methodical winemaking techniques, the wine should be pair with food, do have something planned for dinner and gather some friends. It drinks fast, clean and you should have a second bottle on hand to make it a great night.
