Description

The Eagle Rare 20-Year-Old Bourbon is an exceptional whiskey made by the Buffalo Trace Distillery under the well-known Eagle Rare brand. It is aged for an impressive 20 years — twice as long as the classic 10-year-old Eagle Rare — giving it remarkable depth and maturity. This Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is typically bottled in a 750ml decanter, with an alcohol content ranging from 45% ABV (90 proof) to 50.5% ABV (101 proof) in newer releases, paying tribute to the brand’s original strength.

Each bottle is produced in very limited quantities, making it a true collector’s item. The presentation matches its prestige, featuring a hand-blown crystal decanter adorned with two crystal eagles — one inside the bottle and one on the stopper. It comes packaged in a silver display box with sliding doors decorated with elegant eagle feathers, which sometimes illuminate when opened. Every bottle also includes a numbered certificate of authenticity.

The bourbon itself offers a smooth, rich, and balanced taste, with notes of vanilla, toasted oak, caramel, dark cherries, chocolate, and warm spices. Aged on the lower floors of Buffalo Trace’s historic warehouses, it’s crafted using the low-rye mash bill #1, the same recipe used for Buffalo Trace and George T. Stagg bourbons.
