Description

This Blended Scotch Whisky from Dewar’s, one of Scotland’s most famous and awarded brands, is aged for at least 8 years, ensuring rich depth and character. It goes through a double-aging process, first blended and aged, then aged again for extra smoothness. To add a unique touch, it is finished in ex-Caribbean rum casks for up to six months, bringing subtle tropical flavors to the whisky. Crafted from a blend of up to 40 single malt and grain whiskies, it delivers a harmonious balance of flavors. The whisky is bottled in a 750ml bottle and usually has 40% alcohol.

On the nose and palate, it offers delightful notes of brown sugar, caramel, vanilla, and tropical fruits such as pineapple, coconut, and apple. Its texture is smooth, sometimes slightly creamy or oily, making it enjoyable for sipping neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or Coconut Highball. This expression is the first in Dewar’s special cask series, followed by French Smooth, Portuguese Smooth, and others. Combining Scottish whisky traditions with Caribbean flavors, it has won numerous awards, including Gold at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC), reflecting Dewar’s reputation as one of the world’s most celebrated blended Scotch whisky makers.
